I had never run faster than 13:30 pace before.  Not even for a mile.  So this is a huge deal for me :)
Last Tuesday I ran 2 miles at a 10:42 pace.  I was seriously impressed with myself!
Today I ran 2 miles at a 10:33 pace! Yay! I feel like it will only get better! Maybe I will get much faster yet ;)

Now I am excited to watch Biggest Loser tonight with my workout in!


The other thing that I found and fell in love with was this running skirt from Lululemon.  I usually don't buy the expensive stuff but this is so cute I am definitely going to go pick it up.

Tommy said to me... "uh Randi that is not for running that is for tennis" lol. He thinks that I solely invented using a skirt for running and that no one else does it.  I tried to convince him that lots of people do it and that's why running stores sell them... haha.

I am going to be writing mainly about my odd relationship with running, and my day-to-day life.  I am currently trying to train for a half marathon, and then a full. Oh man. Hopefully this goes well!

If I backtrack a bit, I will tell you a bit about myself.  I am a 23 year old mom to my amazing 7 month old (obviously the cutest kid every born- but I digress).  I work in natural resources and love being outdoors.  I have run off an on since high school but would love to make it a consistent hobby.  I have completed 3 triathlons, a bike tour, and NO running races. So this should be interesting!  I am married to my awesome guy Tommy, and we do a lot of adventurous things together.  Looking forward to taking Burke along for all of these adventures in the future.

We can't forget my main man Ralph.  He is my running partner and never tires.  He is the reason I HAVE to go running (or risk a couch demolition incident).  Which is great motivation.  Should I stay in? Nah, I kind of like my stuff, we should release some of that dog's energy!!
